THE 5 FLAVORS

THE 5 FLAVORS salty, bitter, spicy, sour, sweet are VERY IMPORTANT for LIFE however when there is an excess or deficiency in the body an imbalance is created….. example:

an excess of SALT weakens the heart and vessels;

excess BITTER damages the lungs, the skin wrinkles and body hair falls out;

an excess of SPICY weakens the liver, the muscles harden and the nails whiten and deteriorate;

an excess of ACID damages the spleen and stomach, the tissues harden and the skin becomes sagging;

an excess of SWEET in food is dangerous for the kidneys, the bones become painful and the hair falls out.

TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!!!

It is necessary for everyone to know food also from an energetic point of view, not just nutritionally. The non-restrictive macrobiotic lifestyle does not exclude any type of food, in any case it reduces or eliminates it for a certain period. It is not a rigid and exclusive diet. There are no macrobiotic or non-macrobiotic foods.

Ask yourself: “WHAT DOES MY BODY NEED?”

To answer, therefore, it is necessary to know the diet also from an energetic point of view, not only nutritionally. Macrobiotics is a Philosophy of Life that teaches principles to apply to personal conditions.

Even Hippocrates, father of Western medicine, said, “Let food be your medicine and medicine be your nourishment.”

Knowing: – Yin/Yang Foods – Cereals and vegetables, choice and cooking methods – Foods as a remedy and….much more, “you will obtain advantageous benefits”

OUR BODY MANIFESTS IN THE FEET

In FOOT REFLEXOLOGY each POINT of the FOOT REFLECTS an AREA of the body:

The big toe represents our head and neck, the anatomical shape communicates to us the ascending directional energies of the Spleen/Pancreas, the shape of the nail and the tactile sensitivity those of the always ascending energy of the Liver.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine TCM the second finger is connected to the descending directional energy of the Stomach, its shape and size always express the quality of this energy. The third finger is associated with the energy of the diaphragm. The fourth finger represents the descending energy of the Gall Bladder and the little finger expresses that of the descending energy of the Urinary Bladder.

A body expresses itself through its feet, it is very important to take care of them and always take them into consideration without ever neglecting them.

From personal experience I find careful observation of the feet very useful because it allows an analysis of the health of the organs.

In addition, the foot and ankle play an important role, they constitute postural stability. The ankle is like a shock absorber for the body that compensates for the considerable and important stresses to which it is subjected with a fundamental role in the mobility of the foot and body.

Arthritis, osteoarthritis and other various symptoms that cause even post-traumatic instability or loss of metatarsal flexion limit the motor functions of the foot and ankle, causing deficits throughout the body. The foot is made up of 26 bones, 107 ligaments and 13 joints.

Its small size compared to the weight it has to support defines it as “a masterpiece of engineering”, as the scientist Leonardo da Vinci explained.

Thanks to FOOT REFLEXOLOGY, the fundamental role of the feet in the well-being of our body is recognized.

The holistic vision leads to stimulating a self-healing response centered on the person (and therefore different from one individual to another), instead of dwelling on the disease and its symptoms.

A visual and tactile diagnosis, is a means to reflect on the messages that each body sends through the feet.
